RTStand is available to buy or rent. Three rental models let you start immediately without capital commitment — with the option to convert to purchase at any time. All models include the full RTStand system with identical capabilities.

Short-term

Rent-to-Test

Use the system for a specific project — return it when done.
Best for:
Single-project validation, temporary capacity peaks, evaluating the system before a purchase decision.

As a service

Rent-for-Service

The system plus WKS engineering support — testing as a managed service.

Teams that need test results but do not want to operate the system themselves. Proof-of-concept testing. First-time LV124 / LV148 validation.

Rental FAQ

Is the rental system different from a purchased system?
No. Every rental system is a full RTStand with identical hardware, software, and capabilities.
The only difference is the commercial model.

 

Can I switch from rental to purchase?
Yes. With Rent-to-Own, your rental payments reduce the later purchase price. With Rent-to-Test, you can also convert at any time — talk to us about the terms.

 

How quickly can I start?
Typically within days. There is no procurement cycle — we configure the system for your ECU and deliver it ready to use.

 

What happens at the end of the rental period?
You return the system without additional costs. There is no penalty for returning and no obligation to purchase.

 

Is training included?
Startup support is included with every rental. For Rent-for-Service, WKS engineers can operate the system alongside your team.

 

Can I also just use your lab instead of renting a system?
Yes — the WKS testing lab in Ravensburg offers full LV124 / LV148 test runs. Ship your DUT or visit in person. Many customers start with a lab engagement before deciding to rent or purchase.
